I am extremely excited that LEGO Education are included in our line up this June - why? Because LEGO encourages and enhances creativity, engagement, activity and interest in STEM areas.
Fostering interest in STEM subjects has become a global movement because these industries will be of the highest importance in the future. In the Highlands STEM industries are the most prominent therefore it is very important that we engage young people in world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
However, this is not the only reason I am excited about LEGO's presence. I am a firm believer that the Arts hold a significant role in the development of STEM industries, therefore it is essential that while people are learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, they are doing so in a creative way.
