In November 2011 Fujitsu announced that they had been successful in creating the world’s
fastest supercomputer. The ‘K Computer’ was designed and built in partnership
with RIKEN in Japan and boasts speeds of almost 4 times that of its nearest
competitor.
In light of this record breaking
innovation Fujitsu announced a Global Campaign in early March 2012 through
which the company aspires to encourage and facilitate worldwide conversations
on the question “What would you do with
the world’s most powerful computer?”
As part of this Global Campaign Fujitsu UK have teamed up with My Kinda Crowd to involve schools, colleges and universities in the conversation.
